Job Responsibility

  • Be part of the Supply Chain & Programs Digital Innovation Office (DIO), working in a multidisciplinary environment that bridges business needs and advanced technologies
  • Lead the technical vision and architecture of digital and AI initiatives supporting cost reduction, operational efficiency and enterprise modernization
  • Develop robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, and long term sustainability
  • Represent the DIO in technical discussions with central IT teams, architects, and domain experts—defending, explaining, and optimizing proposed solutions
  • Collaborate across functions (Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Aftermarket, Finance, HR, etc.) to design technology solutions meeting business and data requirements
  • Work closely with partners to ensure IT/AI capabilities are correctly captured, assessed, and integrated into Bombardier’s digital ecosystem
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and implementation roadmaps
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and propose actionable recommendations to guide digital transformation initiatives
  • Support teams in project execution, ensuring technical coherence, scalability, and adherence to architecture guidelines
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges while ensuring technical quality across project deliverables
  • Provide regular technical status updates and ensure alignment with major milestones
  • Contribute to development activities such as solution proposals, technical presentations, and Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Work in direct collaboration with the DIO Project Manager to propel projects forward

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering, computer science, software architecture, AI, data engineering, or related fields
  • 7+ years of experience in technical leadership roles such as Tech Lead, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Senior Developer
  • Experience designing architectures for cloud, integration, data platforms, AI/ML, or digital manufacturing
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Easily synthesize complex technical concepts for both technical and non technical audiences (French and English)
  • Autonomous, innovative, and proactive, with strong problem solving abilities
