Job Responsibility

  • Plan and flawlessly execute large size Tier 1 or Tier 2 complex US & International events (Over 150 attendees)
  • Responsible for large customer events & briefings, product launches, industry events, PR events and trade shows
  • Support sponsorship opportunities at Bombardier Defense events (create, solicit potential partners, distribute sponsorship package, invoice and collect revenue)
  • Manage event provided budget
  • Ensure Bombardier Defense brand is well represented at events
  • Research, recommend, select and manage suppliers to support events
  • Provide on-site support for internal & external event attendees
  • Create and communicate Event Information Packages (contains logistics re hotels/ badges/ transport/ attendees)

Requirements

  • Typically a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or events
  • You can easily overcome obstacles/problems and achieve targets with minimal supervision
  • You hold a bachelor degree in Marketing, equivalent experience in related field
  • You have very good interpersonal, telephone and written skills
  • You can travel frequently: 15-25% (both domestic & international)

  • Collaborate with the Defense Marketing, Communications and Events team in the execution of the annual marketing plan strategy to support the growth of Bombardier Defense missions worldwide

  • Develop and disseminate marketing material: videos, brochures, factsheets, print and digital advertising campaigns, signage, giveaways, banners, etc.
