Job Description

The Adventure Gym Manager is responsible for the safe operation, supervision, and instruction of participants using the Adventure Gym facility. In this position, the manager will lead the staff to ensure equality guest experience in a safe and fun atmosphere. This position ensures all patrons receive proper orientation, follow facility safety protocols, and have a positive recreational experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate Adventure Gym attendants
  • Ensure all safety procedures and operational policies are followed
  • Oversee daily wall inspections, route updates, and maintenance logs
  • Drive revenue in the amenity space to positively impact the overall facility
  • Coordinate Gym programs, lessons, and special events
  • Assist in scheduling staff and managing attendance records
  • Serve as the lead and safety resource during open climb sessions
  • Maintain inventory and request replacement of Adventure Gym gear and holds
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the Adventure Gym area
  • Communicate with the General Manager on staffing, maintenance, and incidents
  • Support programs, events, and birthday parties involving the amenity
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support participants of all skill levels
  • Enforces complex rules and regulations in assigned area of responsibility. Assists other staff in enforcing general rules and regulations, maintaining order, ensuring safety, and providing quality customer service to the stadium tenants, employees, and guests
  • Receive and quickly act upon requests or complaints from guests
  • refer serious concerns to supervisors. Accompany guests into the front office for a warm transition to receiving assistance
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of the facility, and provide quality directions to guests regarding seating, concessions, and essential areas within the facility
  • Support the operations of the business including facility opening and closing procedures, cash controls and all other functions in operating a customer service-based environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers on-site throughout the duration of the tournament/event and offer support during other programing events at the facility

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in amenity operations or instruction
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
  • Ability to manage risk and make safety decisions confidently
  • Must be able to climb and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of performing physical demonstrations and working at heights. Ability to stand for extended periods in a dynamic environment
