Job Description:

Seasonal full-time Adventure Guide position requiring CDL. Responsible for transporting and guiding guests, ensuring safety, providing narrated tours, and performing camp maintenance duties at Musher's Camp in Juneau.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greets guests on the docks
  • Safely transports guests to and from Adventure Camp, Horseback ranch, and/or between drop off points
  • Provides a narrated tour using accurate, quality information
  • May accompany guests as an escort throughout the tour
  • Ensures guest satisfaction
  • Collects and verifies tickets
  • Performs head counts
  • Explains liability waiver forms
  • Adheres to tour timing
  • Conducts pre-trip bus inspections
  • Assists guests into and out of vehicles
  • Reviews safety guidelines
  • Performs camp chores (watering dogs, assisting dog camp staff, stocking refreshments, maintaining cleanliness)
  • Maintains bus cleanliness and reports problems
  • Communicates accurate information via radio
  • Transports supplies as needed
  • Acts as shuttle for Glacier Point guests as needed

Requirements:

  • Certified or able to get certified in First Aid/CPR
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Legally eligible to work in the US
  • May need a CDL or able to attain one
  • 21 years or older
