Job Description:

A temporary to permanent Advancement and Partnerships Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the development and fundraising efforts at their Washington, DC office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Research prospective corporate partners and engagement opportunities for like-minded associations
  • Support notetaking, website updates, proposal drafts, and record keeping
  • Maintain records within the AMS to support tracking of finance and partner activity
  • Manage philanthropic initiatives through research, collaboration, and grant management
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of nonprofit development or fundraising experience
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience with corporate and foundation partnerships is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office, AMS, PMS, and cloud collaboration tools is highly desired
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an eye for detail and ability to effectively multitask and prioritize

  • Updates and/or reviews financial projections to reflect actual property performance
  • Reviews property financial statements, tax returns, cost certifications and low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) specific documentation
  • Reviews legal documents/memorandums and performs other “due diligence” procedures in connection with the property
  • Final Underwriting review approval authority to review, approve, and process requests for capital contributions to the property specific partnerships
