Job Description:

Advanced Support Worker role providing mentorship and support to individuals with complex mental health concerns, learning disabilities and Autism in Alva. Part of a team helping people transition to their own homes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide mentorship to the team
  • Provide training
  • Support to review care plans and risk assessments
  • Mentor staff to develop their own skills and interests
  • Develop colleagues' knowledge and care provision
  • Support individuals with complex mental health concerns, learning disabilities and Autism in their own homes

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in social care
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with complex mental health concerns or learning disabilities
  • Knowledge of support planning and helping people achieve outcomes
  • Ability to connect with people
  • Passion for supporting people to live independently
  • Brilliant mentor able to share skills and experiences
