Job Responsibility:

  • Support a young man with complex needs, including a learning disability and Autism spectrum disorder
  • Provide 2:1 support each day
  • Support to source new activities in his community
  • Support to keep himself safe
  • Medication administration and Epilepsy management
  • Cooking and shopping
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Maintaining his home and managing finances
  • Support on a variety of shifts, including overnight (waking night), days, weekends and bank holidays

Requirements:

  • Prior experience supporting people with complex needs is essential
  • Applicants with a SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care would be highly desirable
  • UK driving licence to drive service mobility car
