Job Responsibility:
Use your analytical and experimental skills to improve quantum computing, communications, and sensing capabilities for the U.S. government
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide direct quantum support
Mentor and learn from teammates and shape research directions both with clients and through internal investments
Requirements:
Experience leading and managing small to medium-sized projects
Knowledge of a wide range of quantum computing hardware, control electronics, and environmental control requirements
Ability to convey complex concepts to a varied audience both written and verbally
Ability to work collaboratively in a manner that leverages various backgrounds and expertise
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking
Master's degree and 6+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking
Doctorate degree and 4+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking
Nice to have:
15+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking
Experience leading the development of technology business plans and roadmaps, building and managing teams of scientists and engineers to execute against business plans, and managing associated resources, including hardware and funding
Possession of excellent technical writing skills
