Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Surgical House team rotating days/nights, weekends and holidays at Parma Medical Center. APP experience preferred and will consider new grads. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree from an accredited PA educational program
(MSN) Master’s Degree in Nursing
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships
Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
Physician Assistant (PA) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination
Practice with a supervising physician
Maintain national PA Certification
Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio
Current APRN License
Nice to have:
1+ years as a Physician Assistant
1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
