Circle Integrated Care is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the physiotherapy department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex presentations, including advanced clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating advanced therapeutic techniques and, where appropriate, requesting and interpreting diagnostic imaging
  • Act as a clinical lead and role model within the physiotherapy team, supporting best practice and professional standards
  • Contribute to the strategic development and delivery of advanced physiotherapy services, including pathway redesign and integration
  • Work closely with consultants, GPs, advanced practitioners, and other AHPs to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
  • Participate in case conferences, MDT meetings, and referral discussions as a senior clinical voice

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
  • Significant post-registration experience, including advanced musculoskeletal or specialist physiotherapy practice
  • Postgraduate training relevant to advanced practice (e.g. MSc, PGCert, or equivalent)
  • Advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams

  • Work closely with the Moving and Handling Team to advise managers on workplace adaptations and support safe working practices
  • Motivate, persuade and support patients to achieve rehabilitation goals, overcoming barriers such as language, culture, expectations and anxiety
  • Provide advice, teaching and guidance to relatives, carers and other health professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Maintain excellent manual, sensory and palpatory skills and ensure safe use of all physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment
