Job Description:

APC specializing in the management of care and coordination of Thoracic patient and clinics under supervision of physician/surgeon. Assist surgeon with all Thoracic cases.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management of Thoracic patients and delivery of care to the patient throughout the continuum of care
  • Coordination of Pulmonary Nodule, Oncology, Lung Cancer and Pleurx Catheter Clinics
  • Assist surgeon with all Thoracic surgical cases
  • Perform preoperative assessments, history and physicals, education and counseling of patients as well as person representatives regarding patient's disease and health issue in office and inpatient setting
  • Initiate post-operative inpatient management as well as office follow-up post discharge
  • Limited on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
  • Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs
  • Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
  • Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
  • Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
