Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned search specialist to join our continuously expanding in-house Search practice under the leadership of our VP of Media. As a senior paid search specialist, you will join a team of exceptionally talented media folks to be the primary point of contact for all things paid search. You will play a pivotal role in paid search campaign planning & execution, including keyword research, competitor research, budgeting & text ad copy creation. You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and scaling paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads and other emerging search spaces. We work across several industries including financial services, tourism, consumer healthcare products and more. Your expertise will be critical in achieving our clients' campaign objectives & goals and we aim to exceed their expectations.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with key stakeholders and internal departments to assist in leading A&G's paid search practice
  • Fully understand the SEM space, trends, and how to best apply to clients based on their goals
  • Oversee strategic development of client search plans, optimize operations, and drive business results
  • Manage and mentor internal teams, as well as outside/3rd party vendors as needed
  • Strategically organize and optimize keyword & text ad portfolios to drive business results across clients
  • Develop effective testing strategies to improve client performance
  • Stay on top of beta tests and changes in policies
  • Drive innovation and education on the search channels within the organization & externally to clients
  • Both lead & assist on media plan development & client presentations
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients and liaison for internal department communication
  • Work closely with the analytics team to evaluate performance or troubleshoot tagging & reporting
  • Work closely with the SEO team to help the teams integrate & work together on client outcomes
  • Prepare & maintain key media buying documents such as authorizations, insertion orders & flowcharts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Analytics, Marketing, Communication, Media, or equivalent relevant experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time paid search marketing experience (not via internships)
  • The ability to independently plan, execute and optimize search marketing campaigns
  • Relevant experience in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, Media in general and an understanding of how search marketing plays a role in a larger go to market strategy
  • Confident with mathematical skills and principles
  • Refined communication skills, both verbal & written
  • A positive attitude, an accountable work ethic, a friendly disposition, & a sense of humor

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in related field
  • Paid search platform certifications or completed coursework within Google and/or Bing platforms
  • SEO experience within Google and/or Bing platforms
  • Self-starter & independent thinker
  • Attention to detail, organization, effective time management, & the ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision
  • Joy in solving problems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and/or their Google product suite equivalents (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
