Job Responsibility:
Patient-facing consultations (face-to-face and telephone)
Triage, assessment, diagnosis, and management of minor illness, chronic, and complex conditions
Prescribing and medication administration
Administration, record-keeping, and clinical governance tasks
Contribute to service improvements, protocols, audits, and leadership initiatives
Support and mentor colleagues
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
Registered first-level nurse
Relevant nursing/health degree or MA
Clinical supervision training
Non-medical prescribing qualification
Minimum 2 years primary/community nursing
Nurse-led management of minor illness, minor ailments, injuries
Leadership in audits, protocol development, and quality initiatives
Self-directed, motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, team player personal qualities
Management of chronic and complex conditions, clinical examination skills, clinical governance, public health issues, local/national health policy knowledge
Vaccinations: Hep B, MMR, Varicella (evidence required)
