Job Description:

Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner - Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner to join our supportive, modern GP practice of ~6,000 patients. You will manage acute and routine illness, run minor illness clinics, prescribe, triage, and assess patients autonomously. Join a forward-thinking, innovative practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • First point of contact for patients
  • full health assessments
  • Prescribing and advising on medication
  • Minor illness management and triage
  • Referral to GPs and other care pathways as needed
  • Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and PCN teams

Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Nurse Practitioner degree
  • Non-Medical Independent Prescriber
  • Experience managing long-term conditions, minor illness, telephone triage
  • Ability to work independently

Nice to have:

  • Primary care experience
  • EMIS Web
  • Knowledge of QOF targets
