Job Description:

The Croydon GP Hubs are in place to provide urgent, on-the-day care, for patients with minor illness or minor injury. We are staffed by a mix of General Practitioners and Advanced Nurse Practitioners, who together provide a wide range of skills, abilities and experience. Help us to deliver great primary care by improving access, outcomes and patient experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care
  • Work collaboratively with general practice team to meet needs of patients
  • Support delivery of policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experienced nurse
  • Must meet NMC requirements for advanced practice
  • Independent and Supplementary Prescriber
  • Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care
  • Assessment and diagnostic skills for patients with undifferentiated care needs
  • Critical thinking in clinical decision-making
  • Work collaboratively with Clinical Lead and GP Hub team
  • Provide nurse leadership as required
