Compass Associates are excited to be working with a rapidly expanding healthcare organisation delivering innovative, community-based MSK, rheumatology, and pain services across the UK. Following a major merger and significant contract wins, they are now seeking Advanced MSK Clinicians specialising in Rheumatology to support the mobilisation of a flagship service in Essex. This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking team shaping the future of integrated, community rheumatology care. As an Advanced Rheumatology Clinician, you will utilise Advanced Practice expertise to function as a rheumatology specialist, managing a varied and complex clinical caseload within the community service setting. Your role involves not only clinical expertise but also leadership, research, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Job Responsibility
Work within a one-stop rheumatology clinic model, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients alongside a multidisciplinary team
Use advanced musculoskeletal expertise to function as an experienced Advanced Practitioner managing a complex clinical caseload within the integrated MSK Service
Conduct all clinical interventions in line with professional standards, company policies, and contract parameters
Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
Contribute to multidisciplinary audit research and evaluation of clinical effectiveness
Identify concerns regarding child safeguarding, welfare, and safeguarding of adults at risk
Understand processes for escalating safeguarding concerns
Ensure own personal mandatory training is up to date
Requirements
Pre-registration qualification to background profession (e.g. BSc/ MSc Physiotherapy)
Registration with regulatory body (e.g. HCPC)
Evidence of MSc level study or post-graduate training equivalent
Consistent delivery of quality clinical management of rheumatology and non-inflammatory persistent joint conditions
Demonstrated clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of rheumatological conditions
Demonstrate exceptional clinical skills with a desire to develop and innovate
Experience with digital technologies in healthcare, including remote consultations
Well organised, conscientious, capable of managing varied demands
Critical thinking and ability to adopt evidence-informed practice
Able to communicate confidently and effectively
Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in leading and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
