Job Description

We are now seeking a number of Advanced Hygiene Operatives, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray. Hygiene is hugely important to us and our customers – our hygiene team start work just as our factory stops so that they can get all our production areas clean and ready for the next shift.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to find innovative ways to improve
  • Speak up if you notice any issues that could affect product quality, hygiene, production, or the environment
  • Follow Health & Safety guidelines and keep cleaning schedule records neat, clear, and accurate
  • Work as part of a team
  • Complete Hygiene Instruction Cards and achieve standards, and follow company policies

Requirements

  • A hardworking individual who thrives under pressure and stays focused on delivering excellent results
  • Experienced in food manufacturing (or a similar industry) is a big plus
  • Strong knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety, and Health & Safety practices
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable
  • Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) and/or COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) is a bonus
