Come to work at a world-class resort and join our Patrol team in a unique leadership position. The Advanced: Employee First Aid and Patrol Dispatch role provides oversight of our Patrol Emergency Dispatch function and the Employee First Aid Room, while also acting as a liaison with the Stay All Season Physiotherapy Program. This position plays a critical role in supporting our patrollers, ensuring operational excellence, and helping staff navigate injury claims. This role is operations-focused and requires hands-on involvement in dispatching, particularly on Saturdays and in the absence of a scheduled dispatcher.
Job Responsibility:
Standardize dispatch operations across both mountains
Develop and deliver training, procedures, and standards
Audit dispatch work to ensure consistency and quality
Provide operational coverage as a dispatcher on Saturdays or when required
Create a clear career progression pathway for dispatch staff
Drive innovative initiatives to modernize the dispatch function
Learn and oversee all aspects of First Aid Room operations
Train modified-duty patrollers as First Aid Room Attendants
Serve as a communication conduit and support for First Aid Room staff
Ensure consistent staffing and scheduling coverage
Lead hiring, discipline, and termination decisions for dispatch and First Aid Room staff
Act as the bridge between the Employee First Aid Room and the Stay All Season Physiotherapy Program
Support patrol employee claims and assist with return-to-work coordination
Requirements:
Leadership and operational experience in patrol, dispatch, or emergency services
Familiarity with dispatch systems and/or medical program oversight preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to train, mentor, and support modified-duty staff
Knowledge of workplace injury claims and return-to-work programs is an asset
Willingness and ability to work directly in dispatch on Saturdays
Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
