Job Responsibility:

  • Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence
  • Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently
  • Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access
  • Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern
  • Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans
  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
  • Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift

Requirements:

  • Advanced Diploma in Disability or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight (active/sleepover)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Full Victorian driver’s licence
  • Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable)
