Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ACP / ANP to support a GP surgery in the Morecambe / Heysham area. This role involves delivering high-quality primary care services, managing a varied caseload, and working autonomously within a well-established practice team.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct same-day acute clinics, minor illness appointments and chronic disease reviews within scope of practice
  • Perform F2F and telephone clinical assessments, diagnose conditions, and formulate management plans
  • Prescribe medications safely and appropriately (if a qualified prescriber)
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using EMIS
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and wider MDT to ensure continuity of care
  • Support practice demand during peak periods by providing high-quality, autonomous clinical decision-making

Requirements

  • Qualified L7 ACP / ANP with proven primary care or urgent care experience
  • Confident in autonomous clinical assessment and management
  • Smartcard essential
  • Competent using EMIS
  • Full right to work in the UK
