Advanced Children's Social Worker

• Play a key role within the team
• Work closely with the Team Manager to support day-to-day operations
• Maintain a smaller, more focused caseload
• Work directly with children and families with complex needs
• Carry out in-depth assessments
• Deliver high-quality interventions
• Provide professional leadership, supervision, and mentoring to colleagues and students
• Support the development of best practice across the team
• Deliver coaching, on-the-job training, and guidance to less experienced staff
• Promote a culture of reflection, learning, and continuous improvement

• Substantial post-qualifying experience
• Experience working with children and families with complex needs
• Confident operating within a multi-agency environment
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting the development of colleagues
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and training
• Able to challenge and improve social care practice constructively
