Job Description

This advanced clinical training provides comprehensive training in adult and pediatric abdominal organ transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, and robotic surgery within a high-volume, multidisciplinary transplant center. This sub-specialty training experience can be tailored for additional training in the fields of interest to prepare surgeons for academic or high-level clinical careers in transplant surgery, with emphasis on operative excellence, perioperative management, and scholarly activity.

Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME- or equivalent-accredited residency in General Surgery
  • Board eligibility or board certification in General Surgery (or equivalent)
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in New York, USA
  • Strong interest in abdominal organ transplantation
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
