Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Adults Residential Night Support Worker to join our night team in Fareham. You’ll support adults in a residential care setting, encouraging independence, dignity, and an active lifestyle while providing consistent, person-centred support throughout the night. This role is ideal for someone with adults residential experience who can confidently manage varying needs and challenging behaviours in a calm, professional manner.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting service users with personal care, cooking, and cleaning
Acting as a key worker and completing required reports and paperwork
Encouraging engagement in community activities and attending appointments
Using service users’ vehicles for outings and appointments
Assisting with de-escalation and managing challenging behaviours (training provided)

Requirements:

Must have the right to live and work in the UK
Must have experience working in adults residential care
Must have a full UK driving licence
6–12 months of UK experience in a care environment, ideally in a learning disability setting
Understanding of challenging behaviours
Computer literacy
Reliable, empathetic, and trustworthy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident and able to positively influence the lives of service users
Willingness to actively engage in activities in and out of the home
