Job Description

At Randstad, we are looking for a skilled and autonomous Adult Social Worker to step into an impactful role focused on safeguarding and assessments. If you are someone who can walk into a new environment, pick up a busy caseload, and hit the ground running from day one, we want to hear from you. We need an experienced professional who can manage complex safeguarding concerns with confidence and minimal supervision.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading and contributing to complex safeguarding inquiries and risk management
  • Conducting robust, person-centered assessments to determine care, support, and mental capacity needs
  • Utilizing the Mosaic database to accurately record case notes, assessments, and safeguarding documentation
  • Travelling across the local area to meet service users, conducting face-to-face visits and interventions

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License & ASAP Start
  • Qualified Social Worker: Valid registration with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council)
  • Safeguarding Experience: Proven track record of handling adult safeguarding cases and Section 42 inquiries
  • Driver: Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • Availability: Ready to start ASAP or on a very short notice period
  • BA in social work
  • be able to manage challenging situations

Nice to have

  • Council Officer Trained: If you are already trained as a Council Officer / Section 42 Lead, your application will go straight to the top of the pile
  • Mosaic System Experience: Being proficient in Mosaic means you can log in and start working without the friction of system training
