Job Description:

As an Adult Social Worker, you will play a critical role in protecting vulnerable adults, working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct safeguarding assessments and develop protection plans
Undertake Section 42 enquiries
Collaborate with police, health professionals, and other agencies
Manage a caseload, meeting deadlines and targets
Develop person-centred care plans
Conduct risk assessments
Advocate for the rights and needs of vulnerable adults
(Potentially) Prepare and present cases in court
Maintain accurate records

Requirements:

Social Work Degree and registration with Social Work England
Post-qualifying experience in adult social work, ideally in safeguarding
Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills
Strong report writing skills
Knowledge of relevant legislation (Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005)
