Job Description

Our trusted client is looking for an experienced ADP Project Manager to guide a major initiative for a manufacturing organization in Troy, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position will coordinate planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment to keep a complex, cross-functional program on schedule and operating smoothly. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, a structured approach to governance, and the ability to drive progress across payroll, benefits, and HR systems teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with internal project leadership to shape and maintain a detailed delivery roadmap, ensuring objectives, milestones, and priorities remain clearly defined
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams by organizing meetings, tracking commitments, and holding teams accountable for deadlines and key outcomes
  • Direct the full implementation effort involving ADP Workforce Now and ADP GlobalView for a U.S. employee population, overseeing activities from planning through deployment
  • Manage project scope, timeline, dependencies, and resource needs while adjusting plans as business requirements evolve
  • Lead data-related implementation activities, including extraction, mapping, validation, system setup, testing coordination, and issue follow-up
  • Provide structured status reporting to leadership through governance updates, executive summaries, and clear communication of project health
  • Monitor risks, blockers, and interdependencies across payroll and benefits functions, escalating concerns and driving timely resolution when needed
  • Support testing readiness, cutover planning, go-live execution, change management activities, and project documentation to promote compliance and operational continuity

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading system-focused project management initiatives in a complex business environment
  • Proven background managing HRIS, payroll, or benefits implementations with responsibility for end-to-end delivery
  • Hands-on knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP GlobalView and payroll-related processes, with the ability to coordinate technical and business teams effectively
  • Demonstrated success building project plans, defining milestones, and driving cross-functional execution across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong experience with governance, risk management, issue escalation, and executive-level status communication
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance priorities, maintain momentum, and ensure deliverables are completed on time
