Baptist Health is looking to add a Admitting Services Manager to our Southbank Plaza Call Center Department. This is a Full-Time, Days opportunity. As an Admitting Services Manager, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 30 team members to provide support in meetings with multiple different specialty departments (such as Imaging), working on process improvement efficiencies, providing coaching and feedback as well as research, and review patient feedback. This manager is required to receive EPIC training. This team will field incoming calls from patients looking to schedule appointments for various teams within our Imaging Department. Shift Information: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing day-to-day operations of Patient Access Services, specifically the Call Center for scheduling, pre-registration, and the insurance verification area
  • Ensuring quality of calls through Service Level Metrics
  • Assisting team members on escalated patient interactions
  • Receiving feedback from Imaging team and dispersing it to the team
  • Process creation and improvement
  • Interacting with 3rd party vendors to implement Baptist policies as necessary
  • Training new team members or current team members on new policies to a degree

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Over 5 years Management Experience preferred
  • Call Center Experience strongly preferred
