This position supports the College of Business’s recruitment initiatives by developing and implementing programs designed to engage and attract prospective students from high schools, community colleges, and business focused student organizations.
Job Responsibility:
Support the College of Business’s recruitment initiatives by developing and implementing programs designed to engage and attract prospective students from high schools, community colleges, and business focused student organizations
Develop programming that will attract students from high schools, community colleges, and business-focused student groups
Provide opportunities for the College’s faculty to interact with potential new students
Work closely with high schools, community colleges, and business-focused student groups that will aid in the recruitment of new students to the College of Business
Lead in the recruitment, training, and supervision of students in the Business Ambassador program
Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree
Valid driver's license
Nice to have:
Experience in the college recruiting process including new student communications and programming
Experience working with high school and community colleges instructors and advisors
Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
Experience working with student populations in higher education
Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to details
Ability to work independently as well as within groups
Proficiency in Office software, especially Excel
Ability to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently
Working knowledge of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
Experience and comfortability speaking in front of large groups
Ability to understand and reflect on one's own experiences and perspectives, as well as those of others, to foster strong relationships and effective collaboration
