We are looking for a dedicated Admissions Representative to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting admissions and records operations within the higher education sector. The position requires a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service to applicants, learners, and internal stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure daily and weekly production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards
Gain comprehensive knowledge of key workflows across the department and participate in cross-training opportunities
Address escalations and resolve individual applicant and learner issues, identifying and responding to broader systemic challenges
Collaborate with various teams, including Enrollment Services, Advising, and the Registrar’s Office, to improve processes and resolve issues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing cycle times and optimizing overall experiences for applicants and learners
Conduct quality assurance activities to identify process defects and improve performance metrics
Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge management systems and documentation to support team operations
Provide training and mentorship as a subject matter expert to enhance team capabilities
Engage in development activities focused on leadership, operations management, and communication skills
Requirements:
Minimum of nine months of experience in higher education or admissions and records operations
At least one year of customer service experience is required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and data entry systems
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and think critically to solve problems
Experience with administrative assistance and document management systems
Positive attitude and adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment
Associate degree or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail is required
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Lean/Six-Sigma methodologies or project management is preferred
