Admissions rep/registrar

Responsible for incoming patients of his/her representative and records information required for admission

• High School or equivalent preferred
• Two years-experience in a hospital admitting office or physician office preferred
• Two years of experience verifying health-care insurance and securing pre-authorizations for medical procedures
• Must be knowledgeable and understand coordination of benefits to ensure a seamless billing and reimbursement process
• Computer proficiency to include word processing and patient accounting system
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient
• Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language
