Job Description:

Were looking for enthusiastic and guest-focused Admissions Hosts to join Chester Race Company for the 2026 race season at Chester Racecourse. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where youll be the welcoming face of our venue, often creating the first and lasting impression for our guests. Working as part of our Guest Experience team, youll help deliver a memorable day of escapism for every guest. Youll play a key role in our award-winning success by consistently providing a world-class level of service and ensuring every guests experience starts on a high note, while also helping to drive merchandise sales and promote retail offerings throughout the guest journey.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing a warm and professional welcome to guests at the entry gates
  • Creating a friendly and engaging first impression, ensuring every guest feels valued
  • Scanning tickets accurately and efficiently using hand-held devices
  • Sell merchandise to guests around the course
  • Proactively approaching guests to check tickets are ready and answer any questions
  • Managing guest flow to ensure quick and smooth entry
  • Working as part of a team to maintain an organized and positive entrance experience
