Provides admissions coordination, referral management, and sales support across Sun Health communities. Ensures a seamless admissions process, strong customer experience, and support of census growth.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor, track, and review referrals for completeness, payer requirements, and risk
Coordinate with clinical teams for admission review and approvals
Verify insurance, demographics, and required documentation
Conduct pre-admission outreach and ensure readiness for move-in
Communicate referral status and escalate concerns as needed
Weekend rotation support for all admissions and referral coordination
Complete all pre-admission documentation and EMR entries
Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal policies
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person
Deliver high-quality service to residents, families, and referral partners
Serve as a liaison between families, clinical teams, and leadership
Support a smooth and positive admissions experience
Conduct tours and support walk-ins and weekend inquiries
Assist with prospect follow-up and outreach events
Contribute to and engage in occupancy and growth initiatives
Coordinate room readiness with internal teams
Participate in IDT meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
Support alignment in admissions and resident care
Provide coverage across communities as needed
Maintain consistency in admissions and tour processes
Participate in rotating 7-day schedules
Support additional projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
additional education or coursework in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
Experience in admissions, sales, marketing, or a related field required
Experience in healthcare, senior living, or a related setting preferred
Experience supporting sales activities, such as outreach, presentations, or customer engagement, is preferred
Familiarity with budgeting, sales processes, or public speaking preferred
Ability to travel locally as needed
reliable transportation required
Ability to meet applicable background check and clearance requirements, including obtaining a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card if required by state regulations
Nice to have:
Knowledge of senior living, including skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory support environments
