The Admissions Manager is responsible for implementing Oxford Internationals admissions plan. They will achieve success through various communications and registrations activities including building strong relationships with key stakeholders and the OI North American and Global Sales Team (GRT) through working collaboratively, providing support, and ensuring Oxford International’s admissions plans are implemented. The Admissions Manager is responsible for managing the entire interaction between Oxford International and agents before a student/group arrives for their course at one of our schools in North America. A key priority is to ensure that established guidelines are adhered to regarding the speed, accuracy, and quality of responding to agents' enquiries, booking confirmations, invoicing, payment, host family details and pre-departure information.
Job Responsibility:
Implementing Oxford Internationals admissions plan
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and the OI North American and Global Sales Team (GRT)
Managing the entire interaction between Oxford International and agents before a student/group arrives
Ensuring guidelines are adhered to regarding speed, accuracy, and quality of responding to agents' enquiries, booking confirmations, invoicing, payment, host family details and pre-departure information
Dealing with agent enquiries promptly
Sending quotes, booking confirmations and invoices
Issuing visa letters
Ensuring agents have full details for all airport transfers
Ensuring agents have emergency contact numbers for the schools
Ensuring all fees have been paid prior to the student’s/group’s start date
Making sure the schools have full and accurate information on all students’ requirements
Supporting the EFL Global Recruitment Team with quick responses, agent on-boarding and quotations
Ensuring good communication of promotions/regional activity
Proactively building knowledge on all EFL products and locations
Ensuring accurate information is sent to agents and students
Managing student registrations including input into CLASS or other relevant software
Providing brand support & data on registrations
Prompt, professional response to all prospective student queries
Follow up with prospective students via phone, email, and in-person meetings
Provide information to students regarding programs
Advise and assist prospective students through the admissions process
Ensure the successful day-to-day operation of the school
Work with Directors and Managers on product development and enhancements
Participate in any association work on behalf of the company
Ensure the premises are maintained in accordance with the OIEG North America Quality Standards
Ensure corporate image requirements are maintained
Manage administrative functions outside of the realm of education delivery
Maintain current knowledge and skills as they relate to industry trends
Ensure all correspondence receives a response within one business day
Meet budget and expense management requirements
Cooperate with other staff to meet goals and deadlines
Support student success
Manage 24-hour hotline when requested
Complete other projects as required by the Management team
Requirements:
Eligibility to work in Canada
Clear background / criminal record check
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
Qualification in education, business administration, international education or related field (Desirable)
Training in regulatory compliance or admissions practices (Desirable)
Significant years’ experience in admissions, enrolment management, or international education
Experience managing the full admissions lifecycle
Experience working with international agents and stakeholders
Experiencing using CRM or student management systems
Understanding of regulatory admission requirements (Private Career College standards preferred)
Experience within EFL or pathway education environments (Desirable)
Experience working across North America/Global markets (Desirable)
Exposure to working with global sales team (Desirable)
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capacity
Highly organized with strong administrative accuracy
