As part of our clients M&E Recovery Plan, we are recruiting an Administrator to support gas servicing and repairs activity during a period of high demand. This is a predominantly telephone-based role, requiring confidence, professionalism, and resilience when speaking with residents. The primary objective of the role is to reduce no-access visits, improve appointment attendance, and support the productivity of our operatives by proactively confirming appointments and managing resident enquiries.
Job Responsibility:
Make outbound calls to residents 24 hours prior to gas service appointments to confirm attendance
Take inbound calls on the gas servicing line to: Book new appointments
Re-arrange existing appointments
Respond to resident queries related to gas servicing
Update systems accurately following resident contact
Provide ad hoc administrative support to the M&E team as required
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support service delivery and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Strong administrative experience, ideally within repairs, maintenance, planning or housing
Confident and professional telephone manner with the ability to handle a high volume of calls
Strong customer service skills, particularly when dealing with residents
IT literate, with the ability to learn systems quickly and maintain accurate records
Well organised, reliable, and able to manage repetitive tasks with consistency
Comfortable working in a busy, demand-driven environment
