Part-time Medical Administrator/Receptionist role (44 hours per fortnight) for an NDIS-registered allied health provider. The role involves supporting a team of clinicians and joining an established administrative team in a structured, process-driven environment that values reliability and professionalism.
Job Responsibility:
Manage front desk reception, respond to phone and email enquiries, and support patients and clinicians
Schedule and coordinate appointments using Best Practice for clinic, telehealth, and home visits
Process billing and invoicing across Medicare, NDIS, insurers, care plans, and private payments
Complete daily batch payments, banking deposits, and reconciliations
Maintain accurate patient records including registrations, referrals, forms, treatment notes, and consent documentation
Ensure compliance with NDIS documentation requirements and maintain secure records
Assist with maintaining and updating policies, procedures, and the practice manual
Requirements:
Several years of administrative experience within a structured, process-driven environment
Ability to follow established procedures
Empathetic approach when dealing with patients
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work above 44 hours per fortnight for busy periods or leave cover
Must have working rights that align with long-term employment requirements in Australia
