Job Description:

Part-time Medical Administrator/Receptionist role (44 hours per fortnight) for an NDIS-registered allied health provider. The role involves supporting a team of clinicians and joining an established administrative team in a structured, process-driven environment that values reliability and professionalism.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage front desk reception, respond to phone and email enquiries, and support patients and clinicians
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments using Best Practice for clinic, telehealth, and home visits
  • Process billing and invoicing across Medicare, NDIS, insurers, care plans, and private payments
  • Complete daily batch payments, banking deposits, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate patient records including registrations, referrals, forms, treatment notes, and consent documentation
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS documentation requirements and maintain secure records
  • Assist with maintaining and updating policies, procedures, and the practice manual

Requirements:

  • Several years of administrative experience within a structured, process-driven environment
  • Ability to follow established procedures
  • Empathetic approach when dealing with patients
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work above 44 hours per fortnight for busy periods or leave cover
  • Must have working rights that align with long-term employment requirements in Australia
