This key role will support the coordination, promotion, and administration of our Foundation, Pathways, and Secondary/Tertiary partnership programmes. The role ensures smooth administration operations and excellent experiences for students, schools, and external stakeholders. The role forms part of a small team and will at times involve providing cover and support for other roles within the team.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with SIT, TEC, and Ministry of Education requirements
Maintain strong communication with secondary school partners, SIT staff, external providers, and stakeholders
Assist with planning, coordination, and promotion of target programmes
Support student selection, admission, and provide guidance on attendance, performance, and welfare matters
Contribute to programme evaluation, development, and continuous improvement
Participate in marketing and promotional activities to engage schools and communities
Support professional and personal development initiatives, maintaining currency in tertiary education administration
Requirements:
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with students, schools, staff, and external partners
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and programmes efficiently
Knowledge of secondary and tertiary education systems is an advantage
Commitment to delivering high-quality service and positive student outcomes
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
