A great opportunity waits for an enthusiastic and motivated clerk to join the Adult Specialist Clinics administrative team. The Specialist Clinic Clerk is an integral part of the team that supports the daily management of clinics and referrals. We are seeking a candidate that has great customer service skills, an eye for detail, moderate computer skills and is driven to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy team, providing support to a variety of stakeholders including clinicians, patients and their families in addition to GP's and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administrative duties
  • Registration of new patients and updating of existing patient details
  • Ensure patient and referrer receive correspondence in relation to new referrals and appointments
  • Communicate and liaise with patients as required
  • Book patients’ appointments
  • Make the achievement of Best Care a priority and pursue it by actively participating in organisational processes, safety systems and improvement initiatives
