A nonprofit organization is seeking an Administrative Support professional to provide direct support to the Chief Compliance Officer/General Counsel. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience supporting attorneys, legal teams, or executives in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information.
Job Responsibility
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, correspondence, and other administrative documents
Maintain filing systems and organize electronic and physical records
Process invoices, timesheets, and expense tracking
Route contracts and other documents for signatures and execution
Assist with subpoenas, liens, document requests, and legal documentation
Support meeting, event, and training logistics
Provide administrative assistance to executive leadership as needed
Communicate professionally with internal departments, Board members, and external stakeholders
Requirements
2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Administrative Assistant, or Executive Assistant
Experience supporting an attorney, legal department, compliance team, or executive preferred
Strong organizational and document management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
