Job Description

This role involves managing grant contracts awarded under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Rural Health Transformation Program. As part of the Office of Primary Prevention, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, streamlining processes, and overseeing procurement activities. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful public health initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and manage the intake process for contract requests, including confirming service needs, funding sources, and timelines
  • Develop and refine scopes of services to align with program goals and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and validate budgets for contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state guidelines
  • Identify appropriate contract pathways and create detailed plans to avoid service interruptions
  • Oversee competitive procurement processes, including document preparation and adherence to scoring structures
  • Monitor contract timelines and logistics, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met
  • Review and audit contract documentation for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline procurement processes and resolve challenges effectively
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive matters related to contracts and funding
  • Track deliverables and ensure timely submission of reports and invoices to meet program objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail in administrative services
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in staff administrative roles
  • Strong knowledge of grant cycles, procurement processes, and budget planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other documentation tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with stakeholders and manage project timelines
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while meeting critical deadlines
  • Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • High level of attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information
