This role involves managing grant contracts awarded under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Rural Health Transformation Program. As part of the Office of Primary Prevention, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, streamlining processes, and overseeing procurement activities. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful public health initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and manage the intake process for contract requests, including confirming service needs, funding sources, and timelines
Develop and refine scopes of services to align with program goals and regulatory requirements
Prepare and validate budgets for contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state guidelines
Identify appropriate contract pathways and create detailed plans to avoid service interruptions
Oversee competitive procurement processes, including document preparation and adherence to scoring structures
Monitor contract timelines and logistics, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met
Review and audit contract documentation for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures
Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline procurement processes and resolve challenges effectively
Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive matters related to contracts and funding
Track deliverables and ensure timely submission of reports and invoices to meet program objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail in administrative services
At least five years of progressively responsible experience in staff administrative roles
Strong knowledge of grant cycles, procurement processes, and budget planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other documentation tools
Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with stakeholders and manage project timelines
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while meeting critical deadlines
Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
High level of attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information
