We are looking for a skilled Administrative Order Management Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Melrose Park, Illinois. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless processing of customer orders and providing administrative support to various departments. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems
Verify purchase orders for accuracy and adherence to company policies
Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for tracking and reporting purposes
Facilitate communication between sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations
Monitor and track chargebacks, preparing reports and resolving basic issues as needed
Offer administrative support during month-end and quarter-end activities to ensure deadlines are met
Generate simple reports and updates for management to support decision-making
Assist in maintaining data integrity within order management systems and tools
Collaborate with team members to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in order entry, sales operations, or administrative support roles
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including basic formulas and data management
Comfort with computer systems, including scanning documents and using keyboard shortcuts
Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and external customers
Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service
Nice to have:
Experience with NetSuite or similar systems is a plus
