Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their customer services group as an Administrative Officer in Children and Secondary progression Unit. This is great opportunity to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.
Job Responsibility:
Case progression tasks such as triage, barrier removal, interview booking
Provide day-to-day administrative support including data entry, form processing, and maintaining accurate casework records
Monitor shared inboxes and triage or escalate queries appropriately
Prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
Work in accordance with departmental policies, data protection requirements and confidentiality protocols, including immediate escalation of any potential data breaches
Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong IT skills, including being proficient in the use of MS Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Time management, including ensuring that you complete and record your allotted daily working hours accurately
Organisation skills, including an ability to identify and prioritise urgent work
Being flexible and adaptable, reacting positively to changes in policies, processes, and work environments
Taking responsibility for effective personal and team delivery
