This role is part time 12 hours per week and the salary advertised is for a FTE. Therefore the salary will be pro rata accordingly. The role is for maternity cover with an expected end date of February 2027. As an administrative officer here at Cherry Lodge you will work alongside colleagues within finance, procurement, payroll, HR and other PCC departments to ensure systems and processes are implemented and to assist with problem-solving should irregularities arise. In this role you will provide efficient, effective and timely administrative and secretarial support to the manager and staff team. This will include working to administrative processes delegated by the manager which align to the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 ensuring those records which need to be accessed during Ofsted inspections and Regulation 44 visits are available and current. This is a varied role and will include administration to do with all aspect of the running of home, from finance to ordering stock.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
A knowledge and understanding of effective office systems
Ability to accurately record and update information electronically and in writing
Good organisational and office management skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Good numerical skills in order to maintain and monitor good budgetary records and reports
Experience of using computer applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel
Good general education to GCSE or equivalent level
