Administrative Officer - Poole Magistrates. We are currently recruiting for two Administrative Officers to join a respected government department based at Poole Magistrates. This is an excellent opportunity to build public sector experience within a supportive, structured team. Full training will be provided. These roles sit within the Enforcement Team and support the processing and management of court‑ordered fines.
Job Responsibility:
Working through a scheduled list of tasks as part of the enforcement process
Carrying out investigative checks and completing intelligence-based work
Managing administrative duties including responding to emails, updating accounts, and creating new orders
Ensuring accurate data input across internal systems
Supporting wider enforcement activity as required
Requirements:
IT literate and confident using computer systems
Administrative experience is desirable but not essential
A friendly, easy‑going approach with the confidence to ask questions
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proactive attitude with initiative to take on additional tasks once allocated work is completed
Ability to provide reference information upon request
Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check or be on the DBS Update Service
