Job Description:

Brook Street in partnership with Ministry of Justice has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Admin Officer - Call Hander. This is great opportunity to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Dealing with queries from customers about their case either by telephone or email
  • Note up cases on the case management system and take any necessary action
  • Have a positive approach and a can-do attitude
  • Be open to change and not be afraid to take on challenges
  • Have flexibility and the ability to adapt across teams and processes
  • Work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with the customer at the heart of everything we do
  • Keeping regular contact with court staff at processing sites throughout the country

  • receive emergency service requests and negotiate with customer regarding service level and qualifications of personnel for assignment
  • Maintain Scheduling database to ensure accurate information on the daily schedule is posted
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on matters including but not limited to personnel information, incident tracking, and disciplinary action
  • Address tardiness of employees and coordinating disciplinary actions with the relevant supervisors
  • Address daily call outs and locate replacements for the shifts
  • Coordinate daily schedule adjustments in a timely fashion
  • Clear all “exceptions” to the schedule on a daily basis to ensure the weekly payroll records are correct by calling handlers/operatives, verifying data, etc., and documenting steps taken
