Job Responsibility
Onboards new part-time employees by guiding them through the process of completing the required forms and information to input into the HRIS and Time and Leave systems.
Responsible for part-time event staff payroll approval and accounting of hours charged to 100+ events per year. This is accomplished by daily monitoring of the University’s Time & Leave system to track various event hours and daily hours for Athletics Operations ensuring accuracy of electronic timecard punches and correct coding of hours.
Creates requested purchase order forms for the Athletic Operations unit ensuring accurate information, correct account coding and setting the document up for the correct electronic approval process.
Assists with the department’s key control management. Ensuring the Athletics Operations office is aware of employee start and end dates to make sure department keys are issued and returned in a timely manner.
Completes all other administrative duties as requested by Associate Athletic Director of Event Operations, Sr. Associate Athletic Director of Facilities and/or Director of Human Resources in order to meet the needs of the department.

Requirements
Associate’s Degree
Four or more years of office management experience
education can be substituted for experience.
Nice to have
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Familiar with federal/state hiring, time keeping and payroll regulations
Knowledgeable in KSU Human Resource policies and procedures, KSU PeopleSoft and HRIS Systems.
