Our client based in Salford are looking for an Administrative Office Assistant to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Monday to Friday £24,785 ASAP start Successful candidate must have experience using Xero Accounting Software.
Job Responsibility
Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Manage and maintain office records, files, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating logistics for events
Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and phone calls professionally and promptly
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
Support the onboarding process for new staff and contractors
Order office supplies and manage inventory to ensure operational efficiency
Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and workflows
Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
Knowledge of Xero accounting software
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
