Job Description:

We are partnering with a growing organization in Northwest Georgia to identify an Administrative Logistics Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced administrative environment, thrives on accuracy and organization, and is interested in expanding their skill set into logistics coordination, customer support, and even light marketing initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks
  • Create and issue purchase orders (POs)
  • Maintain organized files, documentation, and internal records
  • Support scheduling and capacity planning through Excel-based dashboards
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure orders and timelines are aligned
  • Assist with purchasing and selecting appropriate modes of transportation
  • Work with a small group of approved logistics vendors and partners
  • Confirm deliveries and proactively react to issues when they arise
  • Assist with occasional claims and logistics-related problem solving
  • Develop a working understanding of logistics workflows and best practices
  • Support light marketing and social media initiatives, particularly on LinkedIn
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to create sales and marketing deliverables
  • Assist with content and materials based on sales team needs
  • Help bring select marketing efforts in-house from an external firm

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an administrative, coordinator, or order entry role
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and systems
  • Basic understanding of logistics or supply chain processes is a plus (but not required)
  • Entry to intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems preferred
  • Marketing or social media exposure is a plus, not a requirement
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, adaptable mindset
