We are partnering with a growing organization in Northwest Georgia to identify an Administrative Logistics Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced administrative environment, thrives on accuracy and organization, and is interested in expanding their skill set into logistics coordination, customer support, and even light marketing initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks
Create and issue purchase orders (POs)
Maintain organized files, documentation, and internal records
Support scheduling and capacity planning through Excel-based dashboards
Communicate with internal teams to ensure orders and timelines are aligned
Assist with purchasing and selecting appropriate modes of transportation
Work with a small group of approved logistics vendors and partners
Confirm deliveries and proactively react to issues when they arise
Assist with occasional claims and logistics-related problem solving
Develop a working understanding of logistics workflows and best practices
Support light marketing and social media initiatives, particularly on LinkedIn
Coordinate with graphic designers to create sales and marketing deliverables
Assist with content and materials based on sales team needs
Help bring select marketing efforts in-house from an external firm
Requirements:
Prior experience in an administrative, coordinator, or order entry role
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and systems
Basic understanding of logistics or supply chain processes is a plus (but not required)
Entry to intermediate Excel skills
Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems preferred
Marketing or social media exposure is a plus, not a requirement
Strong communication skills and a proactive, adaptable mindset
