This contract position involves supporting the daily operations of a forensic mental health program that serves individuals involved in the justice system. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented and can ensure seamless communication, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with program requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the scheduling and coordination of appointments for clients and clinicians
Handle inbound calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff members
Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with program and legal standards
Utilize software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite to support administrative tasks
Facilitate communication between clients, clinicians, and probation or parole agencies
Support the onboarding process by completing Livescan fingerprinting requirements for new hires
Assist with calendar management to optimize workflow and ensure timely delivery of services
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and external partners
Adapt to evolving program needs and provide resourceful solutions to operational challenges
Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and improve efficiency
Requirements:
At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other relevant software systems
Experience with Livescan fingerprinting or similar compliance processes
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented and empathetic approach
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
High level of discretion when handling sensitive client and justice system information
Quick learner who can adapt to new systems and processes efficiently
