Job Description:

We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, within the dynamic environment of higher education. This long-term contract position requires an individual with strong attention to detail who thrives in a fast-paced setting, managing administrative tasks with efficiency and precision. You will play a pivotal role in supporting departmental operations and ensuring the seamless coordination of schedules, communications, and processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage daily administrative functions, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, maintaining precise calendar management for departmental activities
  • Handle inbound calls and direct communications with professionalism and clarity
  • Utilize Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, and Teams, to create and manage documents, formulas, and collaborative chats
  • Support budget processes by tracking expenses and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Administer CRM systems and tools to organize and streamline departmental operations
  • Facilitate Cisco Webex Meetings and other virtual communication platforms as necessary
  • Track and process departmental data using systems such as ADP Financial Services and Concur
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and multitask effectively to meet competing deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with students, staff, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Teams, and other collaborative tools
  • Experience with administrative systems such as ADP Financial Services, CRM, and Concur
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on being detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms such as Cisco Webex
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and track financial data accurately
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working independently without extensive supervision
  • Prior experience in higher education or university settings is preferred
