We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to support daily office operations and provide dependable administrative service for a home health environment in Maryland. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing communication, schedules, and routine coordination tasks. The person in this role will help maintain efficient workflows, assist internal teams, and ensure callers and visitors receive attentive support.
Job Responsibility:
Manage day-to-day administrative activities to keep office operations organized and running smoothly
Respond to incoming calls courteously, direct inquiries appropriately, and relay accurate messages in a timely manner
Coordinate calendars for staff members, schedule meetings, and help prevent conflicts in daily appointments
Arrange and confirm schedules while maintaining accurate updates for changes, cancellations, or new requests
Provide administrative support to teams within a home health setting, including document handling and general office coordination
Maintain organized records, correspondence, and routine reports to support operational efficiency
Communicate with internal staff and external contacts to ensure timely follow-up on scheduling and administrative matters
Requirements:
Experience providing administrative support in a detail-oriented office or healthcare-related setting
Background working in home health or a similar care-focused environment is preferred
Ability to handle high volumes of inbound calls with professionalism and strong customer service
Proven skill in calendar coordination, appointment setting, and schedule management
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and external contacts
Proficiency with standard office tools and general administrative processes
